Simon is an South African born pianist based in Downtown Toronto, with many years of experience teaching students from beginner to advanced levels.
A graduate of the University of Cape Town from which he holds a BMus in Performance and a PostGraduate Diploma in Performance, Simon specialized in chamber music and accompanying, disciplines of which he is particularly fond of.
Simon has experience in teaching students of all levels and ages, with extensive experience in preparing students for external examinations, performances and concerto festivals.
Apart from his teaching work, Simon is also a member of Trinity College London’s examiner panel. In this capacity he has extensive experience examining students on a wide range of instruments from beginner to advanced level.
