Simon D.

Simon is a versatile freelance drummer, composer, audio engineer, and graphic designer working in Toronto since 2006. He has contributed his creative and exploratory style to music, rhythm and groove in bands such as the Heavy Set Quartet, Swamp Groove,  Lady Pi and the Prismaticks, Ken McDonald, and his own solo project.

Simon teaches a diverse range of styles and music from rock and pop to world and jazz influences.  His focus is on musicianship, reading, technique, and stylistic flexibility.  Lessons with Simon will not only provide a strong foundation within theory and performance, but also instill the fundamentals for a student to mold their style as they see fit.
