Denielle has the keen ability to meet me where I am at, suss out what the issue is, and with the deftness of a surgeon, further meet me where I am to fix it. This is key because as a person who has built up so many habits over the years - some of them detrimental - getting through to me in just the right way can be a tough task. Denielle finds a way. She always does. And she finds it in a compelling, effective, lasting way that stays and sticks and benefits me in noticeable ways that gives me a voice I am actually proud to have. I feel armed and bolstered now, because I truly am, thanks to her.

Denielle Bassels has been my voice teacher since 2016.  I cannot say enough good things about her.  She is truly a voice teacher sent from heaven.  She is patient, innovative and effective.  Before meeting Denielle, I only had my chest voice. She helped me find my head tone and helped increase my upper range by 7 semitones.  I consider that a miracle, as other teachers had written me off as "born this way" when I couldn't reach higher notes.  It is my 9th year working with Denielle and she still has new things to teach me.  When I couldn't sing a certain note, she would always find alternative ways to help me achieve my goal.  I am so glad I found her.  It is always a pleasure going to my lessons with her because she has such a warm and pleasant personality.  I would highly recommend her for anyone who wants to become a better singer.
