Deanna is a passionate teacher, performer, and music director originally from New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. A strong multi-instrumentalist, she has performed in a variety of ensembles across the GTA and central Nova Scotia, specializing in vocal jazz and musical theatre. She studied voice at Saint Francis Xavier University and continued her training in musical theatre performance at Randolph College for the Performing Arts in Toronto.

From a young age, Deanna has explored music through a broad and holistic approach, gaining experience across a wide range of styles and instruments including voice, piano, bass, ukulele, guitar, percussion, and woodwinds. She is enthusiastic about fostering joy in music, using each student’s interests to inspire motivation and skill development.
