Alberto (Al) is an accomplished bassist and guitarist with over 20 years of professional performance experience, having toured in 25 countries across four continents. A graduate of Humber College’s renowned Music Performance program—where he earned his diploma with honours—Al combines technical expertise with real-world insight in both performance and education.

His dynamic career includes appearances at prestigious festivals such as Wacken Open Air and Sonisphere, showcasing his versatility across a wide range of genres including rock, jazz, Latin, pop, classical, and folk. With contributions to five studio albums and extensive international touring, Al brings a deep understanding of the practical demands of professional musicianship to his teaching.

As an instructor, Al specializes in electric bass, as well as acoustic and electric guitar. He creates personalized lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning style and musical interests, emphasizing a practical, song-based approach to developing technique and theoretical knowledge. Al remains an active performer in Toronto’s vibrant music scene, regularly gigging with rock ensembles and tribute acts throughout North America.
