ABOUT THE SUBJECTS

Whether you are looking to prepare for an upcoming RCM exam, or simply have an interest in music theory or history, we have teachers that can help.

Instrumentalists typically learn music theory to improve their understanding of harmonic, melodic, and rhythmic concepts.  Music history then acts as a wider scope of understanding to help musicians gain historical and geographical context to the pieces that they are learning.
Experiencing played music may be the bombastic feeling we’ve come to love, but written music gives us a foundation with which to build this exciting and emotional artistic experience.
