Andrew C. Patten is a certified piano technician through the reputable Piano Technology Program at the University of Western Ontario (2009). His early aptitude for woodworking led to many unique opportunities to explore piano rebuilding on historical American and German grand pianos of the “golden age” era.
In 2014, Andrew became a senior warranty technician and in-home tuner for the Kawai and Bechstein dealerships in the GTA. His well developed mechanical intuition helped his field repair work mature to a high standard. In 2017, Patten trained at the Bechstein Academy in Germany adding fine voicing and hammer work to his repertoire.
Now, Andrew offers agile piano tuning services to piano owners across Toronto and Mississauga through his tuning service, Middle C. Pianos, where the motto is:
